だいいつか と Intro?

Hello! Well that's my intro in Japanese :). As for the title of this post, I wasn't sure what to call it so I looked up "Chapter 1" at the beginning of the book haha. Anyway, just to be careful since I'm still pretty new to all this, I am a junior here at ND and I'm a double major in Poli Sci and French. My name is in hiragana is ろおらあ but I was able to type it in katakana up at the top! My first name is Davis.

Picking one aspect of Japanese culture to focus on is pretty tough but I'd have to pick food since I love to eat haha. Sushi is great but on of my favorite things that my roommate cooks for me are these lightly battered kabobs. I'm not sure how Japanese they are but he's from Tokyo so at least you could say there's an influence! I'm not sure what they're called, I should probably ask him before I post a pic just to be sure. hmmm, I'll be back in just a bit...

  1. Je suis en train de prendre le francais aussi. C'est assez difficile, le japonais et le francais au meme temps...

  3. Sounds like a Louisianan. I spent the last two years living in south Louisiana and already miss the food. Gumboは にほんごでなんといますか。

  4. LOL I did the same thing with the title for one of my blogs!! These blogs are no joke but really do help in getting us to use it outside of class.
